Micro cars, as the name implies, are the mighty mites of the car collecting world. Primarily produced in Europe, and in particular England, the micro car has enjoyed renewed interest among car enthusiasts and admirers for their unique styling and functionality.

Step 1
Watch for eye-catching appeal, or listen for "what was that cool-looking little car?" Micro cars turn eyes and usually produce instant conversation among the general public not accustomed to seeing these versatile little dynamos on the road. A micro car is usually a 2-seater and can come in 3 and 4-wheel versions.
Step 2
Remember that size does count! To qualify as a micro car, there are certain basic size restrictions. The standard range for a car to be considered a micro car is an interior dimension of 85 cubic feet and an overall length of not more than 10 feet.
Step 3
Don't burst that bubble! Many micro cars, especially those manufactured in Great Britain, are referred to as bubble cars for their unique design. These are typically 3-wheel models with a modest amount of interior space enclosed with high arching roof, giving the car it's "bubble" appearance. Find it! Now you are no doubt ready to hunt down a micro car of your own, but you may not know where to go. It's not like you can find listings in your local, daily newspaper. Thankfully micro car owners have come together and formed their own clubs. Prices vary greatly on micro cars as with other used cars, depending on condition, age and wear and tear.
Step 5
Hit the meets and rallies. Don't limit your research to checking online, although obviously the Internet represents a great starting or reference point or you wouldn't be reading this piece!
