1956 Goliath Express 23 window / sunroof Microbus For Sale

1956 Goliath Express bus - 23 windows and sunroof - 900cc 2 cylinder 2 cycle
fuel injected water cooled engine.
No title, bill of sale only - but may be able to assist in some ways.

I was going to restore this bus put it may be too much of a project for me.
This bus deserves to be done 100% correctly. There is only 2 of these
sunroof buses known to exist on the planet according to the Goliath regestry
in Germany. The other bus sold in 2006 in Austria for $40,000 euro's. It
was completely restored. My bus was purchased new in 1957 by KSTN radio
station in Stockton, California. They removed the middle and back seats and
installed radio equipment and used it as a mobile broadcasting bus from 1957
until the 1970's when it was parked in a warehouse. It was found again in
2005 by a Gemran gentleman who purchased it and now I am the owner. It is
powered by a 900cc 2 cylinder water cooled 2 stroke engine that is fuel
injected tucked under the front seats, and is what they call a continous
burn engine burning oil and gas. No oil is in the crank case. It is front
wheel drive. Currently not running and the engine is not free. I have not
even tried to free it up yet. I have been scouting to buy parts because I
was going to restore it. It is very complete minus the middle and rear seat
and some sunroof parts. I have a 1962 VW bus rear seat I can include. The
front cab area and front doors are steel, some rust in the flat floor area,
and across the very bottom front nose near the bumper. A spot on one door at
the bottom. The whole outside sides and back and roof area of the bus is
aluminum. Has wood cargo floors, the wood has some soft spots, wood floor
must be replaced. The aluminum has some dents, the roof has a few small
tears in the aluminum near the back of the sunroof opening from shipping
damage to me from California. I have a Goliath car sunroof assembly that is
a close fit minus the side rails (same as VW bus but shorter) and the one
slider (a bus one could be modified). It has NOS front amber turn signals,
NOS inside chrome cargo handles, NOS SWF wiper arms and blades, NOS
Generator water pump , NOS cargo door locks, 2 NOS aluminum hubcaps, 8 used
hubcaps, extra glass, NOS distributor cap, plugs, points, used 900cc repair
manual, and some other used parts.
